Do you know anyone who got a new car from cash for clunkers?

My aunt had an old Buick worth about $1,000. I helped her get a new Honda Civic. It is made in America, and will almost double her gas mileage. Unfortunately my car is worth too much and gets too much mileage. So I cannot trade it in. I am glad she picked a Civic so she will not be subsidizing the UAW.
