After me and my fianc� get married who all do I have to inform?

Me and my fianc� are just going to go down to the courthouse and get married this summer but we aren't telling anyone except for our witnesses. So after we get married who all do I need to inform such as my place of employment and places like that? Is it ok if I don't tell them or is it required by law?
